I love how the black bird flying in the background of the last photo invokes a sense of the dystopian. It doesn't seem like there's much human action considering how unruly and unmanicured the greenery in the background appears. In reality, this was shot at one of the gardens in Georgetown. 

 

I'm wearing a completely unbuttoned Christian Dior dress shirt I thrifted for $8 tucked into black Abercrombie Kids jean shorts which I sandpapered the logo off of. Hanging from my neck is a skinny chain from Amazon and a heavy duty chain I made from Home Depot. The heavy hardware is inspired by seemingly extra-terrestrial brand, Fecal Matter. Slung on one shoulder is an old video camera bag I use as a purse. Lastly, I scrunched Nike Pro-Combat socks into Dr. Martens enough to render the logo swoosh unrecognizable.
